Members of four Saskatchewan peace groups sang ‘Ain’t Gonna Study War No More’ outside the Saskatchewan legislature, before going inside to hand over a petition protesting the provincial government’s imposition of a military training program in Saskatchewan schools. Greg Lawrence, MLA for Moose Jaw-Wakamow was on hand to receive the petition. He presented the petitioners with a letter from Premier Brad Wall which stated the Saskatchewan government’s strong defence of military training in schools.
