The Saskatchewan Association for Community Education (SACE) is holding its annual conference in Regina this year. In the past, RealRenewal has helped parents get to the conference, as there is not much coordination from the public school board to get parents to participate. Conference description:
“The theme “The Changing Face of Community Education”, reflects the reality that the world around us is changing. We now live in an increasingly diverse Province and are blessed with the contribution of many cultures in addition to the “First Culture” of the Aboriginal Community. Many voices and perspectives make us a stronger Province, with stronger communities. How can we work together to enhance, include and synergize this collective “Voice” to correctly represent the changing and growing culture here in Saskatchewan? We have put together some of the very best practices and examples of how this is being done from actual practitioners working in various areas of community education.”
