Alberta P3 plan a “mess” says labour group

The Alberta Federation of Labour has obtained documents through freedom of information legislation that help explain why contractors are avoiding bidding on P3 schools, according to a report in the Calgary Herald. “It looks to us like they’re promising something they’re not going to be able to deliver and that they know they can’t deliver it, but aren’t being straight with Albertans about it,” Federation president Gil McGowan told the Herald. “The reason they can’t deliver it is because their P3 process is falling apart.” Read the story in the Herald | Permanent downloadable version (if free access to the link is expired)
